Hazhuev Vladimir Shamilovich
He was born on 10 February 1938 in the town of Terek, Kabardino-Balkaria.
He graduated from Moscow Agriculture Mechanization and Electrification Institute in 1959.
He started working as senior design engineer at Kabardino-Balkarian Diamond Tool Factory in 1960.
He worked as chief of the technical department since from September 1961. Then he was appointed chief engineer in 1965.
He worked as factory general director since from February 1971.
He was appointed industry, transport and communication minister of Kabardino-Balkaria by the Kabardino-Balkarian President’s Decree in February, 1997.
He has been working chairman of Terekalmaz Company directors board since February 1998.
He was awarded two Labour Red Banner orders (1971-1997), the order of People’s Friendship (1986). He is the USSR State Prize laureate and an honorary citizen of the town of Terek.
